Richard Rhys of the Pattern Foundry asked us to design a pattern and find a suitable application for our design. Exploring the idea that data collection is a time-based pattern, I designed a system of patterns based on the growth of units of information. I then layered the patterns through silkscreening to allow each pattern to inherit qualities of its predecessors. The patterns were applied to book covers designed for The Oresteia, a tripartite Greek tragedy exploring notions of proliferation.
